Angry Haitians protest outside Hillary’s NY office over ‘billions stolen’ by Clinton Foundation

Haiti EarthquakeIt’s a good thing Haiti isn’t a state, because former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t get an ounce of support from that country — nor will her husband Bill for that matter, where he reportedly couldn’t get elected mayor.

NY1 News reported that a group of Haitian demonstrators protested outside the Manhattan offices of the Clinton Foundation this week over what they describe as “billions of dollars” in mismanaged funds earmarked to rebuild the country after the devastating 2010 earthquake.

They claim that the funds were lost after being directed to the Haiti Reconstruction Commission, headed by former President Bill Clinton. Haitian activists also targeted the Clinton Foundation in January for awarding contracts to foreign contractors and wasting up to $10 billion.

“We are telling the world of the crimes that Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for in Haiti,” Dhoud Andre of the Committee Against Dictatorship in Haiti said. “And we are telling the American people that the over 32,000 emails that Hillary Clinton said she deleted have evidence of the crimes they have committed.”

The Washington Post’s Colby Itkowitz appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Happening Now” and reported that after five years with little rebuilding progress to be shown, the Clinton name has no value in the island nation.

“There are quotes from Haitians that Bill Clinton is do disliked down there that he couldn’t even run for mayor,” said the Washington Post’s  Colby Itkowitz.

Much of the money going to rebuild Haiti was used to construct luxury hotels that have largely remained empty, according to the Washington Post.
